IN THESE TIMES…

How do Christians respond to the reality of POVERTY in their midst?

How should we act to draw attention to poverty and call for action to reduce it?

Venue: The Ulster University New Campus, York Street, Belfast

Thursday 26th January 2023

Tea/coffee from 6.30pm. Programme will run 7.00-8.45pm

We invite you to join us for an evening exploring aspects of the important subject of poverty to help people of faith grapple with the serious issues we face locally across our community.

We are delighted to have Jonny Currie lead the evening in partnership with Dr. Ciara Fitzpatrick and Danielle McElhinney.

Jonny leads the Trussell Trust in NI; Ciara lectures in Ulster University and campaigns on issues related to poverty; Danielle leads a multiagency United Church Voice on Poverty for Evangelical Alliance (NI).

After the speakers, there will be time for table discussions, and then a panel discussion for questions and feedback.

Please plan to join us. This event is free, but we ask that you register for the vent via our Eventbrite ticket page here.

Transport: Metro buses serve the Ulster University York Street Campus and off street car-parking is available.
