This is your invitation to join us for the launch of our report “Rethinking Community Relations – Faith, Belonging and Reconciliation in Contemporary Northern Ireland”.
The Report is the result of scoping study research led by Contemporary Christianity, in partnership with Youth Link NI and Clonard Monastery with the support of CRC.
Over the past six months, Contemporary Christianity, in partnership with Youth Link NI and Clonard Monastery, has convened eight workshops with young people, faith leaders, and interfaith participants, to explore the future of community relations and reconciliation work in Northern Ireland.
Following these workshops, a full Report has been prepared. Its findings suggest that while commitment to reconciliation remains strong, current approaches can feel fragmented, unclear, or disconnected from lived experience. The Report identifies five key shifts that may be needed to renew reconciliation and community relations work.
It is just a week until the launch event.
Cathy Bollaert, and Jamie Plant will be sharing the findings and insights from the study.
Lynda Gould will be responding to the findings in the report.
Then there will be time for reflection, responses, and discussion around the report and the key shifts identified.
We do hope you can join us for the launch evening.
